An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deckhand with a minimum of one year's yachting experience to join a private, world-cruising motor yacht currently exploring the Pacific.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine sense of adventure who is keen to experience destinations well off the beaten track!
The yacht will continue cruising the Pacific over the coming months before heading to Singapore for a scheduled shipyard period next year.
By all accounts, the owners are absolutely lovely, with a real passion for adventurous cruising. They actively encourage their crew to get out and explore the incredible places they visit, making this a particularly appealing opportunity for someone who enjoys travelling and discovering new destinations.
You'll be joining an established, multinational crew of 19, led by British rotational Captains.
THE PACKAGESalary: DOE
Leave: 60 days per year
Flights: $2,500 flight allowance payable after 12 months of onboard service
Medical: Full medical cover
Start date: As soon as possible
Minimum 12 months' previous yachting experience
All STCW certificates in date.
Valid ENG 1 or Seafarer's medical certificate
Powerboat level II as minimum
Any other relevant certificates highly advantageous.
Enthusiastic, hardworking and a good team player
A genuine interest in adventurous cruising and exploring new destinations
Non-smoker preferred
Preferably no visible tattoos
Must be comfortable working aboard a dry yacht with a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any alcohol abuse.
Please note: Due to the existing cabin arrangements, this position is open to male applicants only. Unfortunately, couples cannot be considered.
