*POSITION NOW FILLED*

Our client is seeking an experienced Deckhand for full time position for a 77m private motor yacht and joining the yacht in Barcelona. 

• Mediterranean based and single season cruising, private use only. The yacht is based out of Barcelona for the summer months and historically, Malta from October -April.

•British Captain and multinational crew of 19 who have a good camaraderie and dynamic together.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has good tender driving experience and skills as the yacht has 5 tenders varying in size and who has had longevity in any one job. Any other skills such as painting, woodwork and varnishing highly advantageous. 

•    Yacht master preferred. 

•    Yacht rating certificate or powerboat Level II as a minimum.

•    Heliops experience advantageous but not essential.

•    Valid STCW and ENG 1/Seafarers Medical certificate

•    A good level of English is required.

•    PDSD certificate will be required.

•    Driving license highly desirable.

The Package

•    Salary $3000 per month and with a review at the Captain’s discretion after 3 months probationary period.

•    Annual salary review

•    Leave 38 days but with the option to take further unpaid leave subject to the yacht’s cruising program.

•    SEA contract

•    Full medical

•    Annual bonus at Owners discretion

•    Training fund of $2,500 available after 1 year of employment.

•    $1,500 flight allowance after 1 year of employment

•    The crew have access and use of the onboard gym.
