We are seeking a female Chef for a private 34m motor yacht who is very experienced in Vegan cuisine. 

Join at the beginning of May until around mid October when the season ends.

Working for a lovely British owners who are very family oriented and not ones for late nights and parties. 

It is essential that applicants are very confident with vegan cooking and can provide tried, tested and successful sample menus. 

This position may suit a sole chef or experienced sous/crew chef looking to step up and run their department.

Candidates must be comfortable and competent with the following;

Time Management and Efficiency

Menu Planning

Provisioning and Shopping and without having to rely entirely on agents for provisioning. 

Maintaining a Clean and Organised Work Area

Communicating with the Crew Professionally and Courteously

Fresh Produce, Vegan and healthy Mediterranean style cooking

Good communication skills and a positive attitude and a real team player

Package on offer:

Salary €5,000 Per month

Full medical

5 /6 Crew

Applicants with EU passport given priority 

Those requiring a Schengen visa must ensure it is valid for the duration of the employment period as minimum.

This is very much a family style run yacht that seeks a no drama, happy and genuine team player to join the crew of 6. 

The successful applicant must also be willing to assist in docking procedures with lines and fenders.

The yacht will be used by the British owner and his family and is not a party boat.

There is a mixed nationality of crew but applicants must have a very good level of English language.

The yacht will be cruising the Western Med and as such will be requiring local healthy produce

The Chef will also be responsible for providing healthy and nutritious meals for the crew daily.

All STCW certificates in date

Valid ENG 1

Food Hygiene Level II certificate preferred and some formal culinary training.
